Giving Children a Future of Hope
Maps of India and Kolkata
The Japan Evangelical Lutheran Association (JELA) has partnered with Lutheran World Service India to provide essential housing, food and education to eight children living in Ultadanga, a slum area in Calcutta.   JELA Senior Advisor, Lowell Gretebeck and Asia Program Coordinator, Shimpei Narabu recently traveled to Calcutta to meet LWSI leadership to discuss this new initiative to help these needy children.  Currently, JELA is seeking donations to help these eight young girls 2017.   The total cost to support one child for the year is approximately $1200 U.S. dollars.   We invite you to join us in this important mission program to help the  children  of Ultadanga.
